LOEWE Obi Belt Tan

I grew up in Spain and just attended a Spanish wine dinner last night and I want to be in Spain this summer; so I’m channelling all these pent-up emotions and turning to one of my favourite Spanish brands: LOEWE. Part of their latest Pre-Fall 2019 collection, I spotted this Obi Belt in Tan (THB 37,600) this week and have not been able to stop thinking about it. There’s something borderline kinky and equestrian about it, and I love the flared hips and tie detail. It’s eye-catching, but in a way that does not scream for attention, and can be worn with a casual outfit and remain casual — with a bit of edge. I can’t get over how LOEWE named it ‘obi’, likely in reference to the traditional Japanese sash, and I can’t wait to have fun styling this number in a variety of ways. East meets West, the ranch meets the city, and it’s made in Spain to be worn in Bangkok. I’m here for it. — Lisa Gries, Staff Writer

Bobbi Brown X Ulla Johnson The Minou Eyeshadow Palette

If I had to choose only one make up item, it would have to be eyeshadow. Why? If I walk outside without my eyeshadow, I feel naked! I always need to get my eyeshadow game on point. While I like to keep my makeup minimal on a daily basis, blending and experimenting with new shades is my favourite part of applying makeup. The limited edition Minou Eyeshadow Palette (THB 1,493) by Bobbi Brown and fashion designer Ulla Johnson, has a subtle spectrum of pastel shadows that are just so satisfying to wear. This floral-print compact is a must-have because it has the right combination of colours to pull off a fresh look. I love that with Ulla Johnson’s palette I can flaunt any look — from subtle smoky eyes to intensify my evenings to a soft shimmery look for the day. The palette has matte, sparkle, and metallic finishings, which are wearable for any occasion. Whether I blend the Sparkly Chiffon with the Antique Rose or mix it up in another combination, I am pretty much sorted to match my eyelids with my ‘mood of the day’. — Alisha Pawa, Staff Writer

Vickteerut

Vickteerut Pre-Fall 2019 Swimsuit

Bangkok fashion is never more chic than when it’s done by Vickteerut. I’m always fascinated by their sharp silhouettes, modern tailoring, and intriguing maximalist-minimalism. What’s also cool about Vickteerut is that each collection will feature special swimwear or lingerie-style pieces that are actually for wearing with your regular outfits. This time, from their brand new Pre-Fall 2019 collection that’s just been released, this black and white bodysuit has taken the spotlight (THB 6400). It features a single white rose at the waistline, giving it a beautifully simple yet elegant look. The white off-shoulder sleeves create a glamorously sculpted silhouette and make the piece something you can wear for formal occasions (pair with a maxi skirt) as well as more laidback ones (pair with jeans). — Karn Chatikavanij, Style Writer

Sephora x Barbie collab

Sephora #LIPSTORIES x Barbie Lipstick

Were you a Barbie kinda gal when you were little? I was obsessed with the dolls. I had a box full of outfits for them and a mini mansion for them to live and be merry. I begged my parents for all the trimmings, from the horse stable to the airplane to the beauty parlour and beyond. I’ve grown and become a bit less bratty since then, yet something tells me my inner Barbie doll geek would shriek for this collab. Barbie and Sephora have put their heads together to release a limited edition of #LIPSTORIES lipsticks. From classic nudes to that iconic pop pink, it’s both a nostalgic and fun collection, executed with a good kick and punch of female empowerment. The lipstick pictured here is the ‘Kick It!’ in matte (THB 390), and you can bet your marbles I’m going to kick and kill it when I’m out and about in this number. — LG

Gram Pancakes

Gram Premium To-Go Pancakes

With their new branch in Central World, Gram have also introduced the best thing that’s ever happened to the world of pancakes: that is, pancakes to go. Their signature soft, fluffy, souffle pancakes are now available in sandwich-like form, with a decadently scrumptious mousse filling. They have them in the original Gram Pancakes flavour, but I’m a severe chocoholic and very much partial to their premium chocolate version (yes, the filling is chocolate mousse). Being on-the-go no longer means you can’t treat yourself. Grab one for THB 90 or a box of 5 for THB 450. I strongly recommend you go for the latter. — KC
