Legendary French brasserie Fouquet’s is coming to the Louvre Abu Dhabi in 2020. After conquering Paris, Cannes, Toulouse, Marrakech and other cities, the restaurant is headed to the Middle East, with a little help from Chef Pierre Gagnaire.
As the ninth Fouquet’s address, the new location was picked to be in harmony with the restaurant’s identity throughout the decades. The intent here: opening a place that caters to the usual Fouquet’s clientele, while still respecting the local culture and traditions.
The Louvre Abu Dhabi is without a doubt a symbol for France’s international outreach when it comes to cultural sovereignty. Coming to such a symbolic place brings both elegance and reliability for a bespoke, international audience.
Behind the new menu, this ninth Fouquet’s address will be created by Chef Pierre Gagnaire (on the photograph below).

“Abu Dhabi is known for its collaborations with some of the world’s premier brands. This partnership with Barriere Group is yet another fine example. With the opening of Fouquet’s at Louvre Abu Dhabi next year, the museum continues to bring unique and exceptional experiences to Saadiyat Island”, Manuel Rabate, director of Louvre Abu Dhabi has recently stated.
