The streak of good news for Hong Kong foodies continues as London’s acclaimed Duck & Waffle recently announced its first international outpost right here in Hong Kong. The all-day restaurant serves playful British cuisine and first made waves in the Fragrant Harbour in 2016, when lines were out the door for an exclusive one-week pop-up held at Ozone at the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong.

The sky-high eatery is slated to touch down at Hong Kong’s IFC Mall this autumn; and while it may not boast the same birds-eye views as its London outpost on the 40th floor of Heron Tower — Hong Kong foodies can rest assured that the restaurant will be serving up a number of its most tantalising dishes, including, of course, the signature duck and waffle.

The fluffy Belgian waffles — which come in sweet and savoury varieties including the signature confit duck leg drizzled in mustard maple syrup — are enough to draw in the crowds alone, but hungry diners can also expect a carousel of snacks and larger plates ranging from spicy ox cheek doughnuts to ‘nduja seared octopus, all paired with a classic cocktail menu of refreshing thirst-quenchers. The London outpost is open 24/7 and we can only hope that Hong Kong’s will also cater to the late-night crowds.

Stay tuned here for the latest and until then, you can feast your eyes on Duck & Waffle’s playful British-inspired dishes below:
