In 2015, two young Hongkongers (who’d met on a clothing forum in the late 2000s) had the simple idea of starting a label specialising in well-made, materially superior outerwear -- the kind which wouldn’t be sold at cutthroat prices. Four years later, this concept has morphed into Craftsman Clothing: a fully fledged label that’s been featured in the pages of esteemed publications like The Rake and Men’s Precious. The young founders in question -- messrs Tobe Fong and TC Ng -- are a crucial part of that equation, channeling the same dégagé style (“sportorial” as Tobe calls it) that imbues the entirety of their brand’s offering.    Today, in Style Heroes, we turn the lens on our first ever twofer: contrasting Tobe’s brand-heavy, roaringly masc ensembles with the more methodical sensibilities of his partner TC.
