Jewel-tones, rich, vibrant hues and high-octane drama – that’s the way fall collections are going. No surprises then that metallics are having a moment. This dramatic trend not only takes your dark hues on a shiny ride but also add more depth. Enter: Bobbi Brown’s Camo Luxe fall collection, that’s showcasing the jungle camouflage trend in a new, sophisticated format. It’s focus is a camo-patterned compact of earthy, deep and dark eye shadows that offer a range of textures – from velvety matte to sparkle-infused – alongside a gorgeous highlighter that’s bound to shine brighter than the sun. The range also features chromatic shadows, cool nail polish hues, and richly-pigmented lip colours.Bobbi Brown camo luxe collection

The idea of this collection is to reintroduce one to glamour that’s more down to earth, while adding that fall sheen to it at the same time. The camo print is a bold move in fashion, but for those looking to add it in a more subdued form, this makeup collection might just be a starting point. We are impressed by the eyeshadow multi-chrome, which gives your lids the ultimate 3D effect alongside an easy 8-hour-wear. The formula is also crease-proof, fade-proof and colour-true. The luxe eye and cheek palette on the other hand features a mix of matte and shiny brown shadows, which are smooth and blend easily. They are densely pigmented as well, and can be layered for greater shade intensity. The hero for us is the highlighting powder in this palette, formulated as it is with highly-reflective pearl pigments.

The collection also features camo iridescent nail polishes in Camo and Khakhi, perfect for your NYE party; long-wear gel eyeliner in Cypress Ink and Forest Shimmer Ink; and luxe lip hues like Pink Nude, Downtown Plum and Neutral Rose. The Eye-Opening Mascara is a clear winner too.

Available at all Bobbi Brown Cosmetics counters starting November, 2018.
