Acqua di Parma defines Italian luxury with its fragrances. For the festive season, it takes its olfactory decadence to whimsical heights with its Holiday Collection, designed in collaboration with up-and-coming Italian artist, Gio Pastori.

Pastori specialises in paper-cut art, and he uses his craft to design motifs that adorn a select range of Acqua di Parma’s offerings this Christmas season. The full range includes a perfume and coffret sets dressed with graphic motifs that hint to festive baubles, crossed with outlines of Acqua di Parma’s signature bottle shapes. For Christmas, the prints are entirely limited edition, available only across their Colonia, Blu Mediterraneo and Le Nobili coffret sets, as well as a handful of homeware gifts.

Acqua di Parma has definitely embodied the Christmas spirit with a side of extravagance with so much to choose from. To aid your gift shopping for your loved ones, we’ve rounded up some of our favourites from the holiday collection to get you started:

For the zesty go-getter: The Colonia Artist Edition Perfume

Acqua di Parma’s iconic Colonia perfume was the fragrance that built the brand to what it is today. The house celebrates their most famous scent for Christmas by releasing the Colonia Artist Edition, where both scent and packaging come decorated by Pastori’s eye-catching design. Fans of citrus-forward perfumes will love the Colonia, given the combination of sweet orange, bergamot and lemon within, so this is perfect for the lover of bright, zesty scents in your life.

S$275 for 180ml. Available at Escentials, Robinsons The Heeren, Takashimaya.

For the avid traveller: Mirto di Panerea Christmas Coffret Set

Acqua di Parma’s Blu Mediterraneo series is inspired by the charm of the Italian Mediterranean, with the Mirto di Panarea scent being the best-seller of the lot in Singapore, and for good reason. Mirto di Panarea sparkles with lemon and bergamot, as well as notes of wood, earthy botanicals, and sea salt — all of which come together to kindle images of the azure Italian seaside in your mind’s eye. For Christmas, the Mirto di Panarea coffret set contains a 75ml bottle of the eau de toilette, along with a 40ml shower gel and a 50ml body lotion, both in the same distinctive scent. The wanderlust-addled traveller in your life will love this as a gift.

S$130. Available at Escentials, Robinsons The Heeren, Takashimaya and selected Sephora stores.

For the feminine fatale: Peonia Nobile Christmas Coffret Set

The Le Nobili series is dedicated to celebrating feminine sophistication, so the scents are grounded in familiar florals. Floral perfume lovers will find something special in the Peonia Nobile, which harnesses the breathy sweetness of peony flowers with touches of juicy raspberries, and the unexpected inclusion of black pepper for depth. The Peonia Nobile Christmas Coffret set includes a 75ml bottle of the perfume, along with 75ml bottles of a hydrating shower gel and hand cream, in the same scent.

S$250. Available at Escentials, Robinsons The Heeren and Takashimaya.

For the homebody: Notte di Stelle Home Collection

A home that smells good is a happy one, we believe, so give the gift of Acqua di Parma’s limited edition Notte di Stelle products for Christmas. Designed with Pastori’s motifs, the collection includes a scented candle and a room diffuser, both of which smell like wooden spice and all things Christmas.

S$99 for the Notte di Stelle candle in 200g, S$115 for the diffuser in 180ml. Available at Escentials.

Acqua di Parma is also holding a pop-up to celebrate their festive collection at Robinsons The Heeren and Sephora ION from 5 to 18 December, and they are giving away complimentary gifts to Lifestyle Asia readers — simply flash a screenshot of this article to redeem one, while stocks last.
