Determined, confident and fiercely independent are traits that have defined the Louis Vuitton woman over the years. The Italian fashion house recently launched their Riders of the Knights collection of high jewellery, once again showing their commitment to these values.

The result? A tribute to heroines of medieval times, who struggled, fought and carved a path for themselves in a once male-dominated world. This 50-piece selection features bold, artistically designed necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets — all adorned with exquisite diamonds and gemstones. Another 50 designs will be added to the collection in the future.

Among some of the most striking pieces in this series is the Royaume choker. Inspired by the gorget (armour for the throat), this necklace boasts an intricate, shimmering mesh of 1,600 diamonds and tiny sapphires, with a stunning 19.31-carat, royal blue sapphire at its centre. The delicate enamelling
of the piece, and the fluidity with which it drapes against the skin draws attention to Louis Vuitton’s exceptional craftsmanship.

Set in white gold and platinum, the gorgeous Reine necklace is studded with nine, dazzling 153-carats aquamarines — their vibrant blue colour standing out against the brilliance of the 24-carats cluster of diamonds that wrap elegantly around the pavé chain set. This regal creation fully lives up to its namesake, a queen in medieval times.

Another set of bracelet and earring showcases the beauty of spinels, a gemstone known for their distinctive deep red colour, infused with flashes of orange which symbolises courage and ardour. The jewel is perfectly suited for this collection and is presented beautifully in a white gold bracelet, decorated with 4-carats worth of spinels and 8.4 carats worth of diamonds.
